So.  I post a lot of pics of my dogs.  1.  I don’t have human babies.  2.  I live in Oklahoma (blah)  3.  I don’t do exciting things.  4.  These things combined, make my dogs newsworthy.

Not much else going on.  We’re trying to get the house finished.  And by we, I mean Jay.  He put in a new window in the kitchen and it looks good!  I’m going to go pet the puppies before I fold some laundry!

These are the baby dogs chewing on their new bones.  Ordinarily, they wouldn’t let me take their picture, because they’d want some lovin’ if I am close to them, but they’re busy with their bones.

This is Emmitt.  I had just opened the window, as we had lovely weekend weather this weekend and he was smelling something in the air.  He couldn’t see much with that bush in the way, but he liked to look out of the window.

Does your husband always drink your drink?  My dad did it to my mom all the time–I’m sure he still does.  I’ll make a nice tall glass of anything and Jay will drink it before I can even get half of it down.  Sheesh.  I say that because I need to go fill up my glass of sweet tea.

No more stamping projects to be found at The Phippsonian Chronicle.

This fun sketch, created by Spike, was fun to make! All products are SU (some retired), except the sentiment, which is Stampabilities, and the dew drops.

I don’t have any reinkers, so I use a blender pen and drag it across the brush end of my marker. That provides shading in the leaves. Enjoy!

What wonderfully bright colors.  This bird was made for my friend Lindsey and I made two extras to give away.  He’s just happy.  Trotting along.  Undoubtedly singing a song.  Just happy.

He’s also the answer for SC191 over at SCS.

I made a set of these six cards for a fund raiser for my husband’s company.  They’re raising funds and I asked if they’d like some handmade cards.  Here’s what I came up with:

There are six pop dots included with a bunch of different sentiments, so whoever buys them can choose whichever sentiment they need for their occasion.  Thanks sheetload for a fun challenge!

Oops.  I almost forgot.  My blogging friend, Chrissie, tagged me and I must come up with seven interesting things about myself.  This may take a while.  I’m supposed to tag other bloggers, but if I don’t get off this computer soon, my husband won’t have any cookies and my dogs won’t have their dinner.  So, here’s the seven interesting facts (or semi-interesting):

  1. I hate to fly, but have been to six other countries via airplane…by choice.
  2. My dream car is a victory red C6 Corvette.
  3. Sometimes, I eat cookies for dinner…and I’m a dietitian.
  4. My husband and I used to double date: me with my date and him with his.
  5. When I was a kid, I used to watch Anne of Green Gables and Sound of Music repeatedly.  I could go for a run of Anne of Green Gables now…it’s been a decade or so.
  6. When I lived in Buffalo, I would exercise at Niagara Falls while watching the tourists.
  7. I’m waiting for a brand new niece, expected this week or next!

Thanks Chrissie, that was a fun game.  Now to make those cookies…

Hi friends.  I’ve been gone for a while because I’ve been traveling.  I went up to Buffalo (where I used to live) to celebrate Leah’s 30th birthday.  I also completed my first workshop, which went well.  We had a good time, I survived the flight, and now I’m back in Oklahoma.  I’ve been stamping some, but I’ve also been organizing.  I still have a long organizational road ahead of me, but I’m getting there.  I made this card using a color I don’t use very often, yellow.  I used a embossing folder for the first time and think it’s a lovely invention.  I will probably be setting the cuttlebug up in a permanent usable position soon.  I’m also waiting for a filing cabinet to organize all the SU CS by color.  My mom showed me a cool auction where someone sells tabs to file folders to organize the colors.  Also, while I was in Buffalo, I went to Buffalo Stamps, a lovely paper-crafting/stamping store.  It’s always been one of my favorites, but they moved locations and their new store is lovely.  I got some twinkling H20s (which I’ve been wanting to try), some pearls, some of those little dots that have glimmers in them, and stickles.  I’ve tried each of my new toys and they’re all fun.  I’ll be showing them to you soon.  If you like to watercolor, the twinkling H2Os are too much fun.  So fun.  Also, I had been looking for OMS for quite some time and I finally gave up.  I opted for another type of paint thinner and really enjoy the look when it’s mixed with prismacolors.  So fun.

To wrap this post up, the yellow card:

Peggy sent me this lovely award.  We’re SBS sisters and make up part of the #22 group.  We’re just getting started as a group and I think a lot of fun awaits us!

Thanks again Peggy!
